“Low thrumming wades on warm air” … What a terrific line. I love it.
Joseph a great compliment coming from the man that writes Amazing opening lines hmmmmm that is a serious compliment and i thank you truly!
I have to agree with JC (above). The “low thrumming wades on warm air” is a fabulous line. It feels like summer and cicadas to me. Nice Haiku.
thanks Alice! i was out this morning listening to all the noise…. different types of birds mostly chirping loudly thinking i dont hear it like that when it is gloomy, i think nature is affected by exposure as much as we. thoughts of what noises we hear in nature were running rampant in my head and this popped out!
It popped out fine. Do more of that popping out thing. 😉
LOL OK Alice I’ll work on it!
Sounds warm 🙂
I am wishing for the warm!!
It can’t be too far away 🙂 It is cold here so the warm must be going somewhere 🙂
for that i am seriously sorry! it is in the 80’s now finally but i am hoping for warmer maybe selfishly?
I have had my spring and summer, autumn has passed, now my winter has come, just like life really 😀
I have to agree with both Joseph and Alice the thrumming line was brilliant!
Beautiful!
love the sounds in this haiku – I can hear that lazy, summer day – and am very envious – it’s cold and raining here!
