*yggdrasil is the the “world tree” or to some the “tree of life” and many other names
an august moon
August is a month for getting ready not planting.we store for the winter and prepare for the cold and get ready for late year planting to come.over time people have used the moons phases as an agricultural calendar. many cultures have had names for each full moon. in our August transition from waning to full to waxing i want to share some of those names. green corn moon is one name for the full moon in August. *Aanii is an Ojibway or Chippewa common greeting.
